Yes, people are ignorant. But it's the way we're indoctrinated from birth rather than personal choice. Fight the ignorance with knowledge, not the person with rudeness, however justified you think it may be. Or just ignore it if you're not too bothered about other people's actions :)
I wasn’t looking to convert her, and I know politeness is the best policy when dealing with people like that, but she wasn’t inquiring about my diet, she was insulting it. She went on after that message to call me a bitch that was shoving my opinions down people’s throats, and told me that vegetarian and veganism is a joke. I don’t think that I was going to get through to her even if I killed her with kindness. Thanks for the advice though.
